This course is for members who have completed their pre-novice course and are interested in continuing to learn competitive obedience. Scent Detection is an activity that allows dogs to use their most developed sense, the sense of smell. In this class ,the dog will learn to search for, find and indicate to his handler where is hidden a specific odor , according to the trial rules of the Canadian Kennel Club. This course is offered to people that have successfully completed both Basic1 (initiation) and Basic 2 (starter) classes. The Session of 7 weeks are limited to 6 participants.

The excellent scent detection class allows you to perfect what you have learned so far. The course prepares you and builds up your self confidence during competition by improving your dog’s accuracy when indicating the hide. The Session of 7 weeks are limited to 6 participants.

The course introduces off-leash training. Exercises are gradually worked on with increased distance and distractions to perfect the learning process. A great opportunity to progress with your dog. The goal of our puppy class is to help humans understand their dogs and how to encourage them to cooperate with them in a fun and respectful manner. For puppies 2 to 4 months old. Your puppy must not be older than 4 months when this class begins. Please contact us if your puppy is older than 4 months, as an exception. This class will allow you and your dog to enjoy some quality time on your walks. The class takes place indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. You will learn: - loose-leash walking exercises - managing various distractions - using the right equipment - permissions and requests for a supervised and enjoyable walk.
